When a vacation turns into hell, not a holiday

It’s a year since Mrs Barnes welcomed her husband’s business guests into her home and ended up fighting for her life and that of her family.

Now she’s off on a vacation with her girl friends to help her recover and to celebrate the first of them turning 50. But their dream holiday is about to be interrupted because someone is set on revenge. And this time, Mrs Barnes isn’t on her own turf. She’s far from home, far from help—and responsible for the women who trusted her.

This was supposed to be a holiday. Instead, it’s going to be a fight to survive. And this time, the enemy knows her history… and plans to use it against her. If she breaks, they all do.

Who is Mrs Barnes?

Mrs Barnes is a totally fictional character created by author, Gwyn Bennett. She wanted to create a female character who could be a heroine and kick butt, but who was just an ordinary woman, not an ex Special Forces operative, or Spy. She also wanted her not to be young and fit, but just like most women who are mothers, wives, and hold down careers. Mrs Barnes lacks confidence, is overweight, unfit and thinks her best days are behind her. But, she has a fantastic group of girlfriends who support her and stand by her when she needs them the most.
